39+ week dr appt
Well I dilated a bit more and effaced a bit more, thats the good news....
He said he thinks I'll be ready for an induction on the 27th if not its going to be the FOLLOWING Saturday   NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT!!!!! He doesn't like to induce a cervix that isn't ready bc it leads to a C in most cases....
BUT he does think I'm going to be ready on the 27th, I'm seeing him again on Tuesday and possibly Friday....
Anyhoo, I DID wake up this morning, with INSANE pressure to go to the bathroom, and not to urinate if you know what I mean...so not sure what that means, and our Dog is following me EVERYWHERE, more so than usual...so I'm hoping maybe just maybe this is the beginning of something!!!!
I CANNOT see myself going until after the 27th...I WILL KILL someone, and I can't be held accountable if that does happen, and poor DH with going up to school that week, that idea is not going to work....
UGH!!!!!!

Could you ask for them to induce you by the 27th, so your DH doesn't miss it??? I guess if you are going to get induced-- you should be able to make the call.
Hopefully you will go before then though! The waiting must suck... not looking forward to that.

DH won't miss it, he'll be there no matter what, he's not going to go to school if that happens which is really worse case scenario...he doesn't like to do them too early if my cervix isn't really ready for it, it makes for a more prolonged labor harder on me, and a lot of the time can lead to a c section, but he doubts it'll get to that..which left me a bit at ease....

he doesn't seem to think that I'll get to that point, which is good, he just had to put it out there....
which i didn't want to hear...
he keeps talking to me about what to do when i go into labor, so I say do you think I will on my own, and he said he's seen women at my stage go into labor in an hour after seeing me and then women who are 3CM and fully effaced stay that way for weeks...so unfortunately there is no real science to it...everyones body is diff..
I woke up this morning def feeling something diff so I'm hoping thats a good thing...

Well its some movement...lets hope this pretty snowglobe outside will work in our favors...i'm moving around a lot...we did the BD!!! and i am praying...

I keep thinking it can happen at any minute...no rhyme or reason.
My dr. won't induce until JANUARY due to his schedule!!!
I hope we go soon--wouldn't it be nice to give birth in a snowstorm??

i think ONE of us HAS to go this weekend lol

just to add, i had 2 acupuncture treatments in the last 2 days and im still here, so i dont think its me lol all this progress and then nothing..
ugh similar to my birth of ds..booo

My dr said the same thing. He doesnt want to induce me too early because it leads to a c section more times than not.
I hope you go soon!!!!
I know that I too cannot be blamed for anything I do past my due date! I am just ready to have her!

Very TMI...but with both my pregnancies I had a minimum of 3 or 4 bowel movements while I was in labor at home. It is one of the processes your body goes through to get ready. If you are going and are feeling a lot of pressure I think you will go in a few days. For DS I did a lot of squatting and cleaning ( I was only 1cm when the doc checked me before I went to the hospital a few days prior to delivery) and with DD it was sex, but I was already 3 cm and was that for about 2 or 3 weeks.
Lots of Labor vibes!!!!

Thanks, TMI, but I just had a bowel movement and thought it was going to get better, and it hasn't, so I'm totally thinking something may be up...unless she just decided to bash her head against my bowels...
