39 week appointment-long
NO friggin change from the past 2 weeks. Still 1cm, 50%. I wanted to cry right there.
She had mentioned inducing on my due date (June 18). At last sono (last Mon), EDD was moved up a day to the 17th.
She scheduled me to come back in on Thurs. to check me again. IF there are changes, she may induce me THIS Fri. (if I want).
I'm excited at that idea, as her coming on a Thurs or Fri would be ideal for DH's ability to get the most time off, and my parents to be here. BUT- I can't help but feel like I should be waiting for her to make her appearance on her own rather than doing it for convenience.
Ugh- I just wish I'd had made more progress....

I'm so sorry there wasn't better news today. You June Mommies have made your babies so comfy they don't want to come out to our NY summers!
I hope things progress for you by Thursday!

Oh Amy! I'm sorry you don't have the progress you were looking for.
I can totally relate to the position you're in. Before my breech baby turned, they wanted me to schedule the c-section. Although, I didn't want to schedule it for then they wanted! So, I decided that I didn't want to schedule it and let her come naturally. Now, it's a new ball game, but I went back and forth regarding the schedule, or not to schedule. Sub induce for you, and I know.......
In the end, you'll do what's best for you and baby  and it'll all work out the way it's suppose to.
Here's hoping for some serious progress by Thursday all on it's own.

I'm sorry that you didn't have more progress but it really can change at anytime. Hopefully, things will start to turn around. I know that once I am 40 weeks (on Sat) my doctor will then see if I am dialated and how my cervix is again. If they are not favorable she doesn't want to induce just yet and will want to wait a little longer to see if the baby will come on his own.
Whatever you choose will be what's best for you and your baby!!!

Im sorry to hear that there hasnt been more progress..but then again you could go into labor tonight..that's the funny thing about babies..you never really know when they are going to come.

I know in the grand scheme of things this is NOT something to get frustrated over. I've made it 39 weeks- I can go another week or two if need be....

You never know what could happen! She may decide to arrive any day now. There have been many mommies who have had no progress one day and then delivered shortly thereafter. She'll be here soon! I know it's frustrating but you're almost there!!!
