36w appt

I had my 36w appointment today. I can't believe I am now at the point of weekly appointments and in the home stretch.

We had a growth sono and baby is measuring about 5lbs 7 ozs - last week my doctor scared me a bit in thinking she'd be in the high 6's already and that i could be looking at a 9lb+ baby.

They did say my fluid levels are looking on the lower side of normal so at next week's appointment I'll get another sonogram to check that.

for all those who are worried about not getting sonograms you really can't see anything...if they didn't point stuff out I wouldn't be able to tell what they were even looking at. I think the best sono is still the one from 19w where you can really see them.

Oh, and she is head down and they confirmed that her tush and foot are in my ribs...having confirmation of what body part is driving me crazy amused me.

Great appt!

ITA about the sono ... I can see her heart and spine and that's about the only thing I can make out. I haven't seen her face ONCE. But I still like looking at her. Even if I have no idea what I'm looking at.

thats interesting about the sonos, i didnt know they were unclear at that point
