nursing bras
How do I know what size to order? I don't even know what size I am right now, and I am assuming that my boobs will get bigger when milk comes in, right?
I can't get measured in the store as I am home on bedrest, does anyone have any suggestions?

Re: nursing bras
I would not suggest buying anything good yet.
I started of with Target Nursing tank tops for the beginning. I had no idea if I would stick to the BF, so I didn't wasnt to spend a lot.
Sadly, I have still not found anything I love 5 1/2 months later, so I have a few nursing bras from Target that are OK. I don't get underwire, they get uncomfy.
They don't have a huge selection, but they work for me.
These are the ones I like for sleeping or when I am home:Sleep bra

Re: nursing bras
I bought the medela nursing bra from BRU and I loooove it. Definitely do not buy underwire bras! If you get engorged they can contribute to mastitis (a really painful breast infection from clogged ducts).
To give you an idea I was a B cup before pregnancy, went to a C during pregnancy and bought a D for after. Even if its a little big I don't think its too bad.

Re: nursing bras
my favorite nursing bra (because i am big-chested and need an underwire) is one i got at georgette's, it's by playtex
unfortunately i got it when i was PG and now it's too big in the band (still fits in front though)
since you will be home most of the time in the beginning, i would suggest getting one or two bras from medela (because they are stretchy you can go by your regular bra size or one size up if you want). then, when you have time, and your milk has come in, you can go out and get something more fitted.
these are the ones i have that i wear around the house:

Re: nursing bras
I highly recommend Motherhood Maternity nursing bras with soft cups. I think they are fantastic. I would get one to start with- they run less than $20. I'd get the size you are while pregnant to start with. I did not go up a full cup size from my pregnancy size, but many women do. I'd also recommend a sleep bra to hold the breast pads in place at night. Make sure you have breast pads!! So important once the milk comes in. I do not care for nursing tanks personally. Not enough support.
