3.5 yo DD suddenly having pee accidents?

3.5 yo dd has had 5 pee accidents int he last week. both at school and home. she's been trained since last april. she did have 2 UTIs over the summer, but she was complaining then. she is NOT complaining now.
I called ped, he wants to do a urine culture ot be sure.
1. how the heck do i get DD to go in a cup? she flipped out when we tried before bed today.
2. what else would be causing htis, if not a UTI?

Can you have her go on a toddler potty? Put a wide cup in there before she even sits down and walaaH! GL

my niece is going through a similar thing...she is just holding it for way too long and then she is having an accident. We think that she is afraid she is going to miss something when playing ect... so we just keep asking her if she has to go to the bathroom all the time and we just make her sit on the toilet a couple of times a day. so far it has been working.

as far as collecting her urine, can you get one of those bowls that sit between the base of the toilet and the toilet bowl seat --- like the ones that you had to use at the hospital after you gave birth to count your urine out put volume?
