34w and preterm labor

I've been really crampy and throwing up for weeks. At drs now and getting tested for pre term labor. They are talking bed rest. I'm waiting for a sono so they can check my cervical length. They said if I went into labor from now on out they wouldn't stop it. Not happy.

I went into preterm with dd almost 3 years. Went on bedrest for 2 weeks. They wouldn't have stopped it at 34 but wanted to try and hold off obviously. I was on strict bedrest and went off at 36 and they said that was fine. Well I wound up delivering 2 days before my due date.

They are putting me on partial bed rest. No longer allowed to commute to work. As long as my job is agreeable ill be working from home. Waiting to hear from work. They were going to put me out on total disability but I argued I'd be bored out of my mind and too much rest makes my sciatic nerve go crazy.

Well congrats on the partial bed rest and not full bed rest. Praying that you get to start feeling better and work agrees to what you need. Good luck!!! You've had it rough so I am pulling for you!
