34 weeks and at square one with boy names
I had a name picked out for a boy from day one and now two of my neighbors have named their boys that name. I am really big on names that are not very common. If DC is a boy then I already know 2 kids in his class that will have the same name and I need to change it. Do you like any of the below names? My favorite boy name has been Kellan but my last name starts with a K and I am afraid it will sound to similar. Any input would be appreciated!!!

My friend wanted to name her third son Kellan SO badly and when he was born, her husband downright refused. Basically said if she named him that, he'd have nothing to do with the baby (nice guy, huh?). So they "compromised" and his name is Silas Kellan (both first names). He calls him Silas... she calls him Kellan.
I think it's a great name! Definitely not very common (at least I don't know anyone else with that name besides Kellan Lutz, of course, whom I don't actually know) and a fun name. I don't think it matters that your last name starts with a K. Unless you make his middle name start with a K too... because that would be bad initials.

Chase was our boys name for the longest time, wound up deciding on Luke!
but i still love Chase!
also my second option would be Kellen.
