New mommy here!
Hi everyone!
Sorry I haven't been on to update you all but the life of a new mommy can be rather overwhelming.
Our daughter Abigail Eden was born on Wednesday, August 27, at 7:18pm weighing 6 pounds, 3 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. Her delivery was via emergency c-section.
I was released on Sunday, but Abby has been in the NICU since she was born and is still there now. DH and I have been with her just about every minute they will allow. Abby will be ok, we just ask for some time for me to be able to heal from this MAJOR SURGERY called a c-section as well as to be able to care for our daughter.
I will post pictures at another time, but if I tell you, she is one of the most incredibly beautiful babies I have ever seen in my life and by far the most wonderful thing DH and I have ever done.
If I have missed any new babies being born, congrats to all of the new mommies out there! When she comes home, I will be able to post more.
