A Romantic Weekend Getaway that is under $500
For everything...hotel, gas/flight/travel expenses, food, excursions.
Is this even possible? Where would you go that does not have a lot of kids, is romantic and inexpensive?
I was thinking Montreal, Saratoga, or if we could get a cheap flight, the Carriebean but I priced it and it was WAY over $500.
DH and I need a weekend away, just us (as per our therapist).
What are your suggestions??? TIA

I know of a wonderful B & B outside of New Paltz but they don't allow children.
ETA: Woops, I see w/o DC so it might work.

If you wanted to just get away but not go too far- how about going "out east"
stay at The Inn at East Wind (or somewhere else in the area), go wine tasting, get a spa treatment, nice dinners...
We went for our 2nd anniversary just for a quick getaway and we had such a nice time

I second East Wind! For $500 you can get away for the night, hit a number of great wineries while listening to some live music, sit on a beach, and maybe get in a spa treatment at East Wind.
