30 week appointment last night
Both babies look good...besides the fact that they have no room and are totally squishing eachother. They are laying head to feet, so they are both kicking eachother in the head lol. Baby A is 3.4oz and Baby B is 3.9oz.
Last time I was nervous because baby B had dilated kidneys. Now baby A has it too. This is making me sick. The doctor said it's nothing that I did and that it's extremely common. The measurements are small, they aren't dilated much, just a little bit. All they can do is monitor it and see what happens after birth. Usually the baby will just urinate and it will be fine. This typically is found in boys (so now I think i'm having two boys...I kinda felt that way from the beginning though)....but my doctor said he sees it in girls too.
Has anyone had any experience with this?
I have to go to stonybrook to get another sono to see the kidneys more acurately. I hope after that they say it will be fine.

I don't know about the kidney thing, but I wanted send you hugs! The sono techs at stony brook are great, so don't worry about having to go over there.

Re: 30 week appointment last night
My husbands co-workers son went through this and they were quite dilated. He has not problems urinating and was monitored for about 18 months. I think he went to see a pediatric urologist every few months! He is fine and never had any problems, just few extra doctor appointments
Try not to stress....

They said the same thing to me about extra fluid in the kidneys at my last appointment. if you fluid is good and the fluid is below a certain measurement they just keep an eye on it. Keep yourself hydrated and try not to worry
