3 yo potty training
my older son just turned 3 this month. he has been using the potty when he feels like it since he was 2. The past month he is completely potty trained at day care only!! - he goes 2 x a week to school and goes all day in underwear with no accidents. However, at home he wants to wear a diaper. He almost always goes on potty to poop but not for every pee. He takes his own diaper off and asks to be changed. He does not want pull ups or underwear at home. But I know that he could actually go all day? Are we headed in a good direction? Should I 'push' him. I 've been letting him go his own pace with this but dont want regression either.

IMO I would toss the diapers and NO pull-ups. They are just a diaper. If he can go at school he can do it at home.

DS 1 wasn't potty trained until after 3 (and it looks that way for DS 2 as well.
I found the only way to do it was take away the pull ups.
