One question - why is your son thankful for Mommy and my son is thankful for fire engines?
I even asked, "Why fire engines? Why not Mommy & Daddy?" He said "Because fire engines save people. You never saved anyone." I was tempted to lie and ask if he was sure that I never saved anyone before but let it go.
