3 month old feedings

Did you notice your 3 month old have a decrease in feedings??
I breast feed and this weekend dd started to go 3.5-4 hours between feedings instead of every 3 hours. I figured she was just getting more from me at each feeding no big deal. but she went longer at daycare and didn't finish her bottles and she was going 3.5 hrs in between. Is that normal? Should I tell them to be certain she finishes her bottle?

Also - I just started using bottles so I'm curious how often you sterilize them?

Totally normal! As your baby's brain matures, she might realize she's full sooner or not hungry yet. I wouldn't force her to finish the bottle as long as she's still eating a normal amount each day and gaining weight.

I run bottles through the dishwasher each time we do a dishwash, so hopefully each bottle gets washed every few days.

3 month old feedings

I sterilize them about twice a week, i just spoke to my ped on Friday and he said if we have a dishwasher he doesnt think its necessary to sterilize. But we wont have one for a few weeks till we move home.

As far as feedings, shes on the 3-4hr schedule still, she doesnt always finish her bottles either. Shes mostly STTN i dont force her to finish but i usually try and give her back the bottle after a few minutes and she will finish it 75% of the time.
