3 hr glucose tolerance test..water Q
I'm going for my 3hr test tomorrow. The photocopy of the diet they gave me is cut off a bit. It says to fast after 10pm but doesn't say if that includes water. It looks like they mention taking sips only if thirsty during the test but that's it. Anyone btdt? Thanks!

I drank water.before and during the test.

I drank water.before and during the test.
I did the same. My paper work said to fast but you can drink water. I'm sure every office is different.

I guess I'm not gonna drink a ton of water at this point anyway. We have forced hot air heat and sometimes I just need to at night.

I was told to fast from midnight before. No one told me not to drink water, which I thought was ok. I took my BP meds in the morning with a big glass of water. The NP said water might be an issue, and not to drink anything during the test at all.

same. My doc said nothing to eat or drink so I took that as including water.
