2WW-restrictions
Hi I am currently in my 2ww after a back to back IUI> I was just wondering if there were any specific diet restrictions or others anyone recommened or practices. I am trying to stay away from caffine but it's tough. I usually drink a diet coke or two each day should I avoid the foods you would when you were pregnant?

The only thing my dr said was not to exercise intensely for the first few days. I didn't drink any diet soda (which was so hard for me), or alcohol either. I just ate as healthy as I could.

My doctor told me to think and act as if I was pregnant...so I cut out caffeine and am trying to eat more healthy...trying...LOL
ETA this was for IVF though...

I didn't restrict anything while I was doing IUI's. I still drank my cup of coffee in the AM and had a glass of wine in the PM. I told my dr and she said it was fine.
The day of my transfer, I cut out everything.
Everyone is different though!

My dr gave me no restrictions after IUI's, he said once I got a BFP then the restrictions start.....for IVF though he told me the restrictions start with the transfer

even when i was PG with DS my dr told me that 1 cup of coffee/day is OK. she even said that 1 diet soda/day was OK too.
i know all dr's are different and mine happens to be very laid back. that being said i have no intention of cutting back my coffee intake until i find out i'm PG.
