2nd child birth announcement question
Did you have a picture of your oldest or was it just a picture of the baby?

I actually had something made without pictures, just drawings of siblings and my oldest announced the youngest's birth.

I had one that had 4 pictures. One big pic which was a pic of the 3 of them and then 3 smaller ones on the bottom of just the baby. My announcement was my twins introducing their little brother

I feel like this is their moment to have the spotlight... every Christmas card and everything else going forward will be both.
Each child got their birth announcement to themselves but I did write " welcomed by parents names and big brother/sister names"

When I do the birth announcement for my 2nd ds I am only going to have him on the card. I agree that it will always be him with his sibling. This is his one moment to himself.

Yes, that was what I thought and did for my second too. Just one picture of the baby only.

We included some sibling pics. For our third baby we did a card that allowed for (I'm pretty sure) 6 photos. i think we had 4 with just her and 2 with her big brothers.

I did an announcement that had a back and front. On the front was one large picture of the new baby with all the birth details and then on the back I had three smaller pics, one with my DD and the baby, one with DH and the baby, and one with me and the baby. It was really cute!! I used all hospital pics for the pictures on the back.

i did both of them but I had a total of 7 pics on the announcement  there were 2 main I made one of just DS and the other one of DS & DD then there was one more of the two of them the rest were just DS.
if I did an announcement with only one pic I would have just done DS

being a 2nd (and last) child myself...I know what its like to hardly have any pictures of just you. so i plan to just have the baby on the announcement.

Dd #2 was born on palm Sunday so her birth announcement pic was her sitting in an Easter basket.  I agree it's the only spotlight they get, so I only did her pic. I said welcomed with love by all our names...
