after our honeymoon I printed all of our photos on our regular desktop printer and put them in an album to bring to work to show some people. I burned the pics onto CD and I 'thought' I gave it to DH... Fast forward 3 years- we moved into our house and I'm unpacking. I come across our honeymoon album, and open it. EVERY picture in it is ruined!!! All the ink had smeared onto the plastic sleeves of the album and were totally stuck, not to mention faded. I ask DH to find me the CD so I can make 'real' photos from snapfish or someplace- we look in our safe where we keep all important stuff-- and it's not there. I searched EVERYWHERE and nothing. I knew I had made a backup one for my mom b/c she kept asking me for pics so I finally just burned her one- so I asked her and she looked like this- She had NO recollection of it!!! Anyway, fast forward almost another year- my mom found the CD this weekend!!! It doesn't have 1/4 of the pics- I guess I made her a short cd of pics but to my memory, it has ALL Of the important ones!!! I'm SO EXCITED!!!! This just made my whole day. I just spent the last 2 hours ordering 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10s of all the pics I love... and then I ordered a photo book that I'm going to give DH on our anniversary in about a month. Just had to share!!!
