Fertility Jewelry

I thought some of you might be interested. They have jewelry for fertility and jewelry to remember lost pregnancies. I am thinking of ordering the fertility bracelet for myself...

Re: Fertility Jewelry

I think jewelry is a great idea. Those are lovely choices.

I wore (and still wear) a charm of Kokopelli around my neck. It reminds me of the struggles we had and kept me focus this last cycle. I wear it now so whenever I feel nervous or scared, I have a focal point and I can ground myself.

I agree with Leslie.. I think it's a great idea, and I find it brings me comfort and keeps me focused and positive for this cycle.

Re: Fertility Jewelry

Those are very nice. I have a lotus flower charm on a necklace, as it symbolizes death and rebirth.

Re: Fertility Jewelry

I am so glad you posted this. I just showed it my sister, who is so talented and artistic and she took me to the store and bought moonstone, rose quartz, freshwater pearls and some green and red aventurine and she is making me a beautiful bracelet. We couldn't find the turtle charms so we will have to go to a bead store that is open on Monday or order them online but we got a butterfly charm because of a Celt belief about butterflies and souls and such. So that is my M/C charm and we will add two turtles tommorow.
It is so pretty.

It's finished...well except for the turtlesLINK TO POST ON TTC

I LOVE the bracelet your sister made for you. It's beautiful! Was it hard to make? I like the ones on the website too but they are way to expensive and I'd like one for fertility and to remember my m/c and they don't seem to have one that fits both.

I couldn't make it. She has all the tools and whatnot. She. I would imagine that if you did one with one continous wire or a stretchy string inside, it woudn't be so bad. She made each section individually. She also already had all these crazy tools that you need to make that specific type so you would wind up spending a ton making the exact kind that I had. But like I said, if you made it with a wire or elastic it could be done for under 20$. I found the stones at AC moore and some at michaels. I did have to go to a beading store to get the turtle. It was 3.50$ and was the most expensive thing on the bracelet. The strands of beads were 2 for 3$ at AC Moore. SO if you stuck to moonstone and rose quartz and added a butterfly charm and a turtle and a cute clasp it would 11$ish. You could add some metal spacers for a couple of bucks and get some wire to string it on. It really wouldn't be that bad. There are plenty of how to websites.

Re: Fertility Jewelry

Because I don't like to use clasps for my own bracelets, I use stretch clear cord. Not too expensive. Mine was about $10.

But yours is really pretty....... I was reading the link to the website, and I need to wear mine all the time, and one lady put hers under her pillow at night. I think I'll just sleep in mine.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Yeah the clear stretch cord is what I was thinking about. I am sure it looks awesome. You should post a picture so that people know how it could look made different ways.
