DH just ran an errand and filled up on the way home.
$2.59 a gallon for regular! (at Shell)

I paid $2.73 at BJ's during the week.
On our way out to Rocky Point today, the lowest I saw was $2.75

I don't understand how DH got gas for so cheap today. I was driving all over today and didn't see anything cheaper than $2.75 
but i swear that is what he paid. I have the receipt to prove it
