On demand hot water heater

We have a multi family home with oil burner. I would like to know more about the tankless on demand hot water heater and if it's good for a 2 family house. Can it be heated by using oil instead of electric? and where can i buy one?

WE have a tankless water heater, but we have natural gas. It was the best investment we've made (besides our central AC). I highly recommend looking into it. ETA: ours is a Bosch.

Re: On demand hot water heater

We had one too that was in our old house put there by a previous owner. We had some issues with the pilot going out and not being able to be relit. We also found a dead bird in it once(gross Chat Icon ) It had fallen into the exhaust pipe. We were told by the repairman that they were hard to get parts for and very tempermental. We ended up disconnecting it and getting a traditional water heater. We had some French brand whicg could be why we had so many issues with it. On premise it seems like it would be great for a multi family dwelling
