20 weeks and still no feeling.

I felt something ONCE, and I cannot be sure if that was gas or the baby.

At what week can most of you say you felt like there was life inside you?

Do you have an anterior placenta? I had one with DS and didn't feel consistent movement until a little later in my pregnancy.

Re: 20 weeks and still no feeling.

I didn't feel anything (besides gas) until about 22 weeks. I was a little worried because I was dying to feel something & I kept hearing that I should feel it earlier because I'm thin (or I was thin, not so much nowChat Icon ) You'll feel it soon!

Re: 20 weeks and still no feeling.

Ask if you have an anterior placenta and even if you don't, my doctor said, especially first timers will usually not feel anything until 22 weeks, so sit tight! Chat Icon

23 weeks until I felt STRONG kicking. I had an anterior placenta. I think at 23 weeks, DS found my side.

Re: 20 weeks and still no feeling.

i started feeling some flutters at 18w and kicks at 20w. I agree with some of the pp that if you have an anterior placenta it may take a little longer to feel the baby! Don't worry you will feel it soon!Chat Icon

I have an anterior placenta. I didnt know until I told my doctor I wasnt feeling any movement at all. i didnt start feeling until 29 weeks and my doctor wasnt very concerned at all. I never feel movement constantly and my dr isnt concerned at all.

Re: 20 weeks and still no feeling.

I have an anterior placenta and I didn't feel anything until later on. It was well into the 20 weeks... I can't remember which one exactly. DH didn't feel her move for some time after that.
