20 week sonogram and dr appt.
So I made my appt for my 20 week sonogram at my doctors office instead of at Madonna where I had my NT scan. I then have an appt. with the doc after the scan. Do they give you results then and there? I don't think my doc's office does sonograms normally because he said a Madonna tech will be doing my sonogram.
I liked the setup at Madonna in Mineola and am wondering if I should go there the day before and then have my 20 week appt. like normal at my docs office.
thoughts?

Re: 20 week sonogram and dr appt.
I had my 20 week sono at the OB office by the Madonna tech, they have two rooms in the back where they do the sonograms.... IT was perfect! They tell you right then and there how he/she measures, they are looking for symmetry not size. Then if there is an issue they tell the doctor who will discuss it with you. Luckily nothing was an issue for us so Dr. Tomlinson just poked his head in said everything looks great, see you in four weeks! It was fun......I also had my appt with Dr. Tomlinson before the sono so he listened to the heartbeat and asked me if I had any questions.....

Was it shown on a "small" screen? I think what I liked at Madonna in mineola was the big, almost 50" flat screen in the room so that if other people are with you, or even you, everyone could see it clearly without hovering over a small screen, or me. 20 week is the anatomy scan too right?
