20-month old on plane ?

I am so nervous about this. How do I get through a 3 hour flight? Should I put dd in a car seat? We are definitely buying her a seat. I cant having her kicking some poor soul in our row. How do I keep her seated?

Re: 20-month old on plane ?

I'm having this issue now. My youngest and VERYYYY active DD will be 20m at the end of January when we go to FL. I'm dreading the plane. Absolutely dreading it. She doesn't sit still, ever.
We plan on bringing tons of snacks (she's quite the eater lol) , the iPad, books, small toys etc. whatever I can squeeze into my carry on. We got her her own seat, along with my older DD. I'm hoping they will play together on the seats but they dont usually play at home together lol wishful thinking I guess

Re: 20-month old on plane ?

Ive done it twice already. Dd was a year old n two n both times we went to fl. It's really not a bad flight bc it's pretty quick. Like pp said just make sure u have lots of snacks n new toys/books. Everythin new so you can jump from one to the next if they get bored. I still have a separate bag of toys that i take only on plane rides or long car rides. Good luck!
