2 yr old and no appetite
DS is almost 2. He was sick over the weekend with just a fever. Took him to the Ped yesterday and it looks like it's just a virus. He didn't eat much all weekend. Today he woke with no fever and seems better. Still a little cranky, but no appetite at all. He is drinking and does have a wet diaper.
He hardly ate yesterday. Only has had water, water down applejuice and some chocolate milk. Anything to get in his belly.
Thoughts? He's usually a good eater. He seems ok. When I ask him if he wants something to eat he just tells me no.

Have you tried any fruit pouches? I keep them real cold, and she will eat those when she's sick. Ice pops, and frozen cut up grapes/fruit.
What about making a nice smoothie, and putting it in a cute cup with straw?

We have been like that here for almost a week. And DS doesn't eat anything usually... We went back to the Gogurts. And he is chowing them down. Pedi said as long as he is hydrated, don't worry about not eating...

DD has been like that in the past when she gets sick. Ped said that as long as she is staying hydrated not to be concerned. Keep trying things you know he likes. And it can't hurt to call your dr to let them reassure you as well.

Hes prob still not 100 percent. Think about when you are not feeling well. Give him a few days he will be back to normal.

2 year old DS had that about 2 weeks ago.
I dont think he ate anything for 3 days. He'd sit down at the table and then leave. But he was drinking and behaving normal so i didnt worry about it.
By the 3rd day, he woke at 3am and told me he was hungry. Then fell back asleep.
I woke at 7am to him handing me a container of mac & cheese :)

It's fine. DD goes through phases where she'll eat everything in sight, and then she'll have a phase where she'll barely eat anything. If they're hungry they'll eat. And considering he is just getting over being sick, I think it's perfectly fine and normal that he doesn't want to eat. I wouldn't force it, as long as he's getting enough water and having wet diapers. My ped always says if she's having wet diapers she's fine.
