2 yr old (25 months) Nap Issue
DD has recently begun refusing her nap. She was a wondeful sleeper/napper who sleeps 8pm-8am and used go down for a 2 hour (at least) nap around 11:30. Recently (since learning how to climb out of the crib) she has absolutely refused to quietly go down for a nap. I turned the crib around to prevent her from getting out and I just ordered a toddler bed in hopes that she will resume her napping/sleeping routine.
Has anyones two year old stop napping at this age?
Am I doomed with a toddler who doesn't nap and should just give it up?
Maybe, I'm missing something and there is another reason why she is refusing to nap, ideas?

Re: 2 yr old (25 months) Nap Issue
Same over here. DS 27 months. Fabulous sleeper 11 hrs at night at 2 hr nap min. Then all of sudden no nap. He would go into his crib no problem. But 30 minutes later he would still be up just hanging. I have not given in. I attempt almost everyday to still give him a nap. About every 3rd day he takes one. I make him stay in his crib about 30 min before I cave. Sometimes I tell him he must have quiet time on my bed.
I am not ready to entirely give it up. I still think he needs it. But when there is no nap he goes to bed 30 min earlier and there is never a problem. I am loving that a bit more.
So do what works for you. But you are not alone. Most kids in DS nursery class don't nap anymore.
