2 yo waking at 5am! ??

So my 2 year old son has been getting up at 5 am for the past week! His schedule hasn't really changed at all and he still takes a nap everyday. He actually sleeps worse if he doesn't nap. He usually goes to bed by 730-8 and used to sleep till 6 which was fine bc im up at 530 anyway for work but getting up at 5 especially on the weekend is making this pregnant momma tired! Any advice or tips?? Is this just a phase? Also he's been in a regular bed for over a month bc he was sleeping horrible in the crib

Have you tried losing the nap? That might help. Some kids stop napping around 2

Have you tried ignoring him when he wakes up? Sometimes my 2 year old wakes up around 5 and I ignore him. He goes back to sleep. He's also in a crib though, so that helps.

What about trying one of those sleep training clocks? When it's red before a certain time and then changes to green letting them know it's ok to get up.

My 2 year old did /does the same like pp said I ignore his cries after a few minutes he stood and lays back down for several more hours.

Just wanted to add DS woke up at 4:50am I had to go in his room and lay him back down cause he was crying (25 months) 30+ minutes later he is laying down in the bed crying out every so often but very close to going back to sleep. I am home on maternity leave right now so we don't need to be up at 5am, he needs to go back to sleep for a few more hours

If I had to work I would have left him in there and gone about getting myself together
