2 year old bringing up past events
my 2 1/2 year old has been randomly bringing up things that have happened in the past, he's been doing it for a few months, actually. for instance, my mother visited the other day and since then he's said a few times "mommy, grandma camed over."
he also has brought up something that happened months ago. my dh sat in a chair and broke it , months ago  DS has brought it up a few times saying something like "daddy broke the chair." Then "daddy fixed the chair." I think that instance was traumatizing for DS, because he was hysterical after he fell. I feel bad that, I guess, hes still thinking of this. is this normal? anyway to ease the worry? I usually say something like "I know daddy fell down, but he's ok now"

2 year old bringing up past events
My daughter does this too and she's almost 2.5. She still talks about a duck we saw at the park with a broken wing and that happened months ago in the summer. I think its normal and a sign that she has a great memory.

My DD is 2 and has an insane memory. I'm always shocked by the things she remembers and brings us randomly!
