2 year old birthday party location

DS will turn 2 in the spring. Last year, his party was fairly small (about 20 adults, 3 other babies) and at home. This year, DS has lots of "friends" as we are part of several play groups. We will probably invite 14 kids (maybe 10 of which will come).

My question is, am I better off having the party at home, a party place (like Chuck E Cheese or something) or just do immediate family at home?

Looking for some BTDT opinions. I know he has lots of childhood birthdays to come so I don't want to over do it!

For both of my DCs, we had first and second birthday parties at home.
When DS turned 3, we started going out and my DD will be 3 in May and we plan on having it out as well.

chuck-e cheese is still a little too young for a 2 year old IMHO, a bouncy place is perfect for a 2 year old.

since both my kids are summer babies we do a party for friends only at the house during the week and a family party on the weekend.

We had DD's 2nd birthday at Hop N Bop. Perfect size bouncers for that age.

For DS's 2nd - we are thinking of just doing a family trip to Dutch Wonderland or something since he's a summer birthday.

Chuck E Cheese is probably too hectic for 2 year olds but there are other kid friendly venues. It is super easy to have it at a party place. You basically show up with cake and favors.

We had DS's 2nd birthday party at Moon Soup, a kid place in Manhattan. It is geared towards the young set.
