We're on party #2 from various neighbors.

Should we or shouldn't we do something for Aly?

Not sure of the weather either....it *may* be warm enough to do something outside for an hour or 2.

We just had the Tumblebus do our party and the kids had a blast. I definitely recommend it. The bus pulled up to the front of the house. The kids went on and did all sorts of fun activities with the 2 people who ran it (a husband and a wife). For our party we had 12 kids of various ages (20 months-9 years old). As the kids played, I fed the adults and even the adults enjoyed some quiet time.Chat Icon

It was $250 for the hour. We had them come from 3-4. However, they were very flexible with their times. They even had another party early in the day before mine.

I was in the same dilemma, to have or not to have a party. At one point I was dead set against it, but my daughter goes to daycare and all the other kids in her class were having one and I felt bad not giving her one. We are doing it at My Gym.

We are having a joint party with some of my friends who all have babies born over the same 2 week period. So there are 3 of us this year....Albie, Esme & Noah. Since we are a big group of about 21, none of us want to go to 21 parties...so we do several joint parties.

THis year we are renting out the local Irish Club and we are going to do a Disco themed party with kids/parents coming in Fancy Dress. We only spend about $40 renting the hall and we are going to bring our own food, toys, and karaoke machine. They will let us use the DISCO! Lights for free.

If it were just me on my own, I don't think I would do much of a party really, but this year my parents are over. So it should be a good shindig!!!

I had a small party for dd at home. I set up arts and crafts stations - brought toys outside and just did pizza and some italian food. it was in the am before her nap (11-1 maybe?) I don't even remember now.

I think the kids had fun.

We had Lollipop ponies come and had the petting zoo as well. The kids LOVED it!
