Its been a month of absolute horror. My DD will be 2 in November - and all of a sudden is starting to refuse her naps and gives me a problem every time we tell her its time for bed. I mean over 30 minutes of yelling, crying etc...sometimes.

Before all this started - she would go to sleep on her own in her crib, tell me goodbye and play with her toys and would eventually fall asleep - well thats all changed!

She hates the word "NAP" and "SLEEP". She will scream at the top of her lungs when we put her in her crib for anything. She absolutely needs a nap because she is so cranky without one - she won't eat dinner or drink her milk because she is so overtired - so lately ive been having her CIO until she naps for at least an hour.
We like to put the kids down at night between 8:30-9 - (earlier if possible) and my DD wants nothing to do with it. Last night I gave in - and we played till around 10 pm and she still wouldn't go down! I know she is absolutely tired, she has to be.
I don't see anymore teeth coming in or anything that might bother her. Its been weeks that her behavior has been like this. I don't know what to do. She will wake up sometimes at 2- 3 am hungry crying for a bottle - and then wants to party - she refuses to go back to sleep - so I make her CIO. I have too.
Now - what could be wrong??
She is getting an hour nap, she is up at 7 am and we aim to put her to bed at 8:30 pm. Why doesn't this child like to sleep?

Also - How long is too long to make a child CIO??? Im feeling so bad for her to hear her CIO - but honestly she would cling to me forever and not want to sleep in her bed - what can i do?

She is screaming right now!
