2 under 2 moms
I have my 19 month old and 1 month old for 16 hours a day by myself. I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do with DD to keep her busy while caring for DS.
What is your day/routine like? Suggestions on activities? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not very creative on my own
Poor DS gets stuck in the swing alot!! I find it hard to do playgroups, etc because DS doesn't have his shots yet.
Also parks are hard because how do I run after DD with the newborn.
I don't know why I cna't figure this all out

It's hard to do structured activities with DD. DS is still a little needy. So I usually go for 2 walks a day. I am still carless so I can't even go anywhere with them.

DD doesn't always like to sit in the stroller but I'm going to give it a shot.
Do you just play games inside the rest of the day? What type of stuff.

how about the playground at times that it's not too hot, library activities (after the baby has his shots).

I know what you mean, except my daughter is 3. She is used to the summer being our time to do a ton of things and now that I have little man we are limited. She is asking this morning to go to the beach and it's just not an option with him, he will be 2 months tomorrow. I feel bad for her. Getting her in the double stroller or the sit and stand is a battle. She wants HER single stroller. She is/has issues with her brother even being here. So I am limited with her. Yesterday we went to target. She refuses to walk or go in the shopping cart or ride one of the other kid friendly carts, I had to carry her and push the cart at the same time. Sadly it's going to be a boring summer for us this year. Other than having her in dance class that's all I can really do with her.
I feel your pain.
