2 part question about cars/crossovers and space
my lease is up next month and we need to decide on a vehical.
I really don't want a gas guzzler (even though I have been driving a cherokee now), because I basically just use it for errands, unless I ever go back to work
I have looked at some cars and crossovers and the trunk/back are so small that for my stroller to fit, the handle has to be folded down then it can fit....what a PITA! And then it leaves little room for anything else.
So I wondered what car/crossover do you recommend?
What stroller do you use? I only have 1 kid now and we thought to get an umbrella type, but I wondered what will be do for strollers when we have a 2nd?
TIA!!!

Re: 2 part question about cars/crossovers and space
anyone have any suggestions for a car or crossover?
Since I don't always use a stroller when shopping, I am thinking maybe just getting a car makes more sense and then in 2 years when we have another baby, decide then if we want something bigger.

What about the GMC Acadia or a Mazda CX9? Both get excellent raves on here!

Both are nice, isn't the gas mileage not great?
I saw the saturn outlook and loved it, but I don't think I need that much truck.

Ihav ethe 09 Nissan Murano and I LOVE IT!!! Lots of room and space, good on gas, I couldn't be more pleased. We have the MacLaren Triumph for Athan's lightweight stroller and his full sized Peg Perego Uno in the trunk now and I still have space for groceries and stuff.

I have the Honda CRV...It has plenty of room for DD's stroller.

I believe Outlook is the sister to the Acadia - so the same truck really. The Acadia estimates about 17-24 mpg, which I don't think is that bad! I am hoping to get this truck in March.... Not sure about the CX9 - you can ask Twinboys, she has one!
