I had to sign DD up the other day her class which is 2 days a week 2 hours a day will become next year 3 days for 2 1/2 hours a day. They keep them in the same class so there was no other choice.

Ella goes 3 days/week. They're longer days 930-230, which I was afraid would be too much, but she loves loves loves school.

DS goes 2 days a week for 2 1/2 hours. He seems to like it and it is working for us.

Re: 2 or 3 days for 3 yr. old nursery school?

The school that I am hoping DS will attend is five days a week for 2.5 hrs per day. This is for the 3 and 4 programs. If I had a choice I would probably do the 3 days. I'm worried 5 is too many (but, this is the only option at this school) but, I think 2 is too little.

DD is 3 and is going 2 days a week. Its enough because she also has dance 1 day a week. Next year I will send her 3-4 days when she is 4 to prepare for kindegarten.

We do 5 days a week, actually, because she loves it so much. But our school has the five day option.

Re: 2 or 3 days for 3 yr. old nursery school?

We have our DD in a 3 day, 2 1/2 hour program and it's been GREAT for her.. I was hesitant to go right to a 3 day program, but it has been perfect!

We do 3 days for our 3 yr old and every day she is off she asks if she has school and wants to go, so next year we'll do 5 days. I think 3 is perfect!

My DD is is in a 3-year old class and goes 3x a week. Starting in January, she is going 4 or 5 days a week (they are half days, 9-12).

In my area a number of them had open houses a few weeks ago and registration started then. Most of the schools said the classes are full by January (for Sept. 2010 start).

All my kids have done 3 days at 3 yrs. old. I think it's the perfect amount.

We did 4 days for DD when she was 3 so I'd say to go with 3. 2&1/2 hours isn't very long so I would add the extra day.
