2 Hour Glucose Test?
My dr informed me the 1 hr is now 2 hr? I go to South Bay... anyone else?

When I was diagnosed with GD 3 weeks ago, I learned from both the OB and the endocrinologist/diabetes Dr that they are moving away from the 1-hour and 3-hour and that the 2-hour glucose test will tell the Drs. what they need to know. It's to avoid the mother having to do repeat tests.

I just took the 1 hour on Sunday & 3 hour yesterday.

I also go to South Bay, and had my 1 hour two weeks ago, and the 3 hour last Sat (which I passed) I never heard of the 2 hour

My doctor only does the 2 hour now. It was nice b/c I knew for sure I'd only have to do it once, pass or fail. But it was an awfully long time to sit around.

who do you see?
Dr. Lockhart primarily, but I've seen all of them at one time or another since I need late appointments.
