2 carseats positioning
I am due with baby #2 in a few weeks and I have a DS that will be 14 months when the baby comes. Right now I have DS rear facing on the passenger side. Do I leave him there and put the baby on the drivers side? Or switch him to the drivers side and put the baby on the passenger side. Is one safer than the other?

We had it the same way & when DS #2 was born we switched so #1 was behind the driver.

My first 2 boys were the same age difference. We moved ds1 behind driver and ds2 behind passenger.

I am going to try to keep them next to each other and see
How it goes currently dd is rear facing middle at 32 months I haven't decided if I'm going to switch her FF if I do I will move her either behind the driver seat or passanger seat and put baby 2 in the middle if I don't switch her FF I will put baby 2 behind the passenger
If I decide to not keep them next to each other I will have baby number 2 behind the passenger and DD behind the drivers seat

I have 2 children next to each other but found out when I went to a car seat safety check that you shouldn't have them next to each other if you don't have to.
She said as a rule if thumb the older and stronger child should be behind the driver and the other should be behind the passenger.

Just wondering. What is the reasoning behind moving the older one behind the driver and having the newborn behind the passenger?

You cannot place the Chicco in the center - Britax on the Driver's side - Chicco on the passenger side.
