1year old w a Stomach bug?
Is there anything you can do for a 1 year old w a stomach bug? Ds has had diahrea for a few days and threw up once today. He has had very little appetite. I have been really encouraging him to drink, both bottles and water and I still nurse. The dr says just to keep giving fluids.
Is there anything I can give him? Thx!

The liquids are most important. But you can also try for bananas, brown rice, apples, or just a couple of crackers.

We went through this a couple of weeks ago. Hydration is most important, don't worry so much about whether he's eating or not. My ped suggested letting her eat whatever she wanted (within reason of course), and letting the virus run its course (as opposed to giving her only binding foods).

Keep him hydrated but do not give him anything with milk. Milk makes it worse
