1st prenatal visit.
According to my last AF, (Nov. 12), I should be about 3 1/2 -4 weeks pregnant. (Correct me if I am wrong).
My first doctor visit is on Dec. 20.
What exactly happens during this appointment?

ETA: Did your DH's or SO's come along for this visit?

You might get an internal sonogram and you should see at least a sac. They will also give you your duedate and a script for bloodwork. I think thats about it. They will probably schedule a sono appointment for around 7 weeks to see the heartbeat.

With my DS they did an internal exam, no sonogram, and just went over my family history.
With this pregnancy they did almost nothing, just took some blood to confirm pregnancy and set up an appointment for a sonogram. At my 2nd visit they did the internal exam.

I had a pap, gave me a due date based on my LMP, sent me for bloodwork to confirm pregnancy.
2nd appt I had a sono (8 weeks) and was sent for more bloodwork.

OH MY GOSH CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I didn't know you were PREGGO!!!!!
At my first appointment - at nine weeks - the doctor did and internal sonogram where I got to see the little guy on the screen (and saw the heartbeat too). The doctor then did a pap exam, and took blood. I didn't have my boyfriend with me because I didn't know I was even pregnant at that time but I am sure you can call the dr.'s office and ask if your DH can come along.
Again - CONGRATULATIONS I AM THRILLED FOR YOU!!!! HAPPY AND HEALTHY NINE MONTHS!!!!

I went last week for my first
They just did a reg exam and a pap, then went over family history
They gave me a prescription for bloodwork, which I had done on Sat and I have an appt for our first sono on Thursday!! I cannot wait!!

when i went we just went over family history, what I should be changing in my life, etc. It was more of a consultation. they did some bloodwork.
My next appt is at 7 weeks for the first sono. Jan 3rd.
Also my last period was Nov 11 so you are just about the same as me. I started my 4th week yesterday so you are starting your 4th week today!

My 1st visit they weighed me, took my blood pressure, took a urine sample and gave me a pap (since I was a new patient to the office and hadn't had one in over a year at my old place). Then they had me come back the following week for an internal sono to see if they could see the heartbeat.
