What happens when you go to the gyno after a BFP on a home test?

It depends on the Dr.
Most do a pap if you haven't had one very recently.
Some take bloodwork.
Some do sonos.

I had a blood test and ultrasound. I then went back at 9 weeks and that was when they did the Pap and took lots of vials of blood.

my 1st appt was @ 8wks, i had a sono, and didnt need to do a pap again since i had one at my check up in the summer. they gave an rx to the lab for like 6-8 vials of blood to be drawn, and gave me a big book from the hospital i am going to deliver at with info and forms to fill out, and a lil gift bag with some baby samples and magazines, that was about it i think.
