1st birthday start time
I was just wondering what time everyone had their DC birthday party at. My DS generally sleeps in the morning for a nap. He likes his dinner at 5-5:15.
I was originally going to start it at 1 and then serve food at 1:30. I also was considering a start time of 2, but when would I serve the food? I was thinking 4 and have everyone out by 5.
Any thoughts/suggestions?

Re: 1st birthday start time
Starting at 1 sounds fine. We started ours late at 3 pm but it was a summer thing. We had hotdogs when people got there & then dinner around 5:45. Cake was sorta late though at 7 (her bedtime is 7:45).

Re: 1st birthday start time
I'm doing lunch for DS's first birthday. I invited everyone over at noon. He naps around 10 am and then again around 3 or 4. I wanted to make sure he'd be awake for his party. Its going to be very low key though, just our immediate family though about 25 people in our house.
I'm figuring snacks until about 1 or 1:30 and then cupcakes around 3. Then most people will leave and we can crash/cleanup while he naps.
