1st Birthday Party Locations
DD will turn 1 on Christmas Eve.
We are still undecided about whether we will have a party for her. However, I wanted to get information in order if we decide to throw one.
Can you recommend your party locations that can accommodate a wide age range <1-7 years old?
Trying to do something different than the usual parties we've attended - like Once Upon a Time and Whitepost Farms (they are still on my list but I want to see if there are different places).
We are Northeast Queens, so I would prefer around here or as far out as Nassau County.
TIA

It's like you read my mind. I've been coming up with ideas for DD's first birthday which is New Year's Eve! I'm thinking of doing it at Bertucci's and having family style pizza and pasta and getting a balloon guy to come for the kids. Their packages seem pretty cheap as well.

1st Birthday Party Locations
Do you know anyone who loves in the Towers at Waters Edge? We rented out their party room and brought in catering and entertainment. The space is big and really nice, and there is a full kitchen. Also has tables and chairs and they will set the room up however you want. We used Professional Kids Entertainment, and they were really affordable and good.

Thanks - I think my MIL's hairdresser lives there. I will have to ask her.

Re: 1st Birthday Party Locations
For birthdays when the kid is 1 & 2, I think a restaurant (IF you want to do it & don't have enough space at home) is great.
We did it at home & had catering from a gyro/kebab place. People loved it. We did have to empty our living room of everything & rented a few tables. After all costs, having it at a restaurant (like Bertuccis) would have been a similar cost & less cleaning.
Another idea is to do it in a church hall (which can be rented out for not too $$).
