1st Birthday Party - Favor Help Please
Did you do a favor?
If so, what did you do?
Not sure what (if any) to do. There will not be a ton of kids - depending on who can come - there will be about four in the under one year range, two in the 1-2 year range, one 4 year old and two in 5-7 age range.
Really not sure what to do - can't spend $$$$ but don't want to do crap either.
I also don't necessarily want to have to do five different things because of the different age ranges.
Also, do I need to do something for the adults then too or really just for the kids/babies?
Help!!
Thanks!
Michal

I do like the sippy cup idea that I saw on here but that can get a little pricey. Although they do have multi-packs at BJs!
What kind of ediblies?

Re: 1st Birthday Party - Favor Help Please
i designed a calendar magnet then uploaded it to vistaprint to have printed. in goodie bags i put the magent and then 2 chocolate lollipops. 1 was of a fire truck and the other was 1st birthday. (it was a firemans theme)
the magnets cost about $50 for 60 of them.

Re: 1st Birthday Party - Favor Help Please
good bag with edibles, think of favorite foods that aren't too sweet, maybe like pretzels
for under 1, you can do mum mums, but honestly I don't think I would do any favors for under 1.

Re: 1st Birthday Party - Favor Help Please
We did cupcake favors for everyone (it was a cupcake theme). And all the kids got a little goody bag with a coloring book, crayons and/or some flash cards or mini board books - depending on their age.

Re: 1st Birthday Party - Favor Help Please
Our main favor for the kids were the crayon keeper rolls. They were a huge hit! I found them on etsy with a cupcake theme fabric. We also gave them each a coloring book and a goody bag with some other small toys and candy (mostly for the parents). We didn't give favors to adults.
Here's what they looked like:
Etsy seller "handmadebybritt" was awesome to work with and she has a ton of patterns to choose from.

I gave all kids under 7 years old goody bags...they bags were age specific. The older kids got candy and older toys....the younger kids just got an age appropriate toy. For the adults....I purchased little gift boxes from Michaels, Hershey Kisses from Costco, Found cute little favor labels on etsy for the boxes and cute little Hershey Kiss labels from etsy as well. I think it all came to less than $1.50 per person.

Re: 1st Birthday Party - Favor Help Please
we did a shovel and pail and filled it with stuff. All the kids got the same thing. Party City had the stuff pretty cheap. My MIL personalized all the names on the buckets and dated it.
Wasn't pricey at all
ETA - don't need to do anything for adults

Re: 1st Birthday Party - Favor Help Please
We're doing the Winter One-derland theme and I'm just making hot cocoa cones as the favors. I will be amking them for every person, kids included. I will also have a craft table set up for the kids and they can take those things home as well.

Thanks, ladies! I feel like a lot is going to be done with favors last minute because RSVP date isn't until 8 days before party - although I'll prob pester people with kids before that so I can get a heads up!

Re: 1st Birthday Party - Favor Help Please
How about a candy cart with dc name and date of the party on the bags? that way they can fill there own bags.. You can make your own cart/candy table with bins and have the bags made for like .50 cents ea?

I got all things they can use in the tub-like the wascloth that blows up in water, tub coloring tablets to change the water-tiny tiny bottles of bubble bath-shampoo-conditoner and tub crayons to draw on the wall/. I figured it was something everyone can use n I wopuld not have to worry if it was something someone was allowed to have or not.
