1st birthday favors

I'm looking for ideas for favors for DS 1st bday party. The party is sept 1 which is Labor Day weekend. I was going to do beach buckets but its a little late in the season. I also have to be careful with edible favors as my nephew has a peanut allergy. Any suggestions would be great!! The party is mickey theme but the favors don't need to go with the theme.

1st birthday favors

I've seen packs of dried fruit (apple slices) that are Mickey's Clubhouse branded.

Thanks for the idea but I feel like it would be expensive! Trying to keep the cost on the lower end.

Mickey Mouse themed water bottles.

Character themed balls (same size as soccer) last year I did this for my daughters 2nd everyone loved them. I waited till August and they were on sale at Target. I think I got them for $2.99 each.

1st birthday favors

I had a minnie mouse theme for DD's birthday. I got little buckets (minnie for the girls, mickey for the boys) from Party City and filled them with bubbles, a ball and a beach ball. The kids loved them.

Thanks for the ideas! I can make chocolate lollipops and Oreos. I did them for his christening, but if I do that I should probably give to the adults too right?

Since there is a peanut allergy, maybe skip the edible all the way. Go with little beach buckets filled with sidewalk chalk for kids with little games and maybe beach buckets filled with adult drinking items. Like cheap margarita mixes etc. Not sure how many favors or if you are doing adults and kid favors. HTH

I was thinking this. If I do edible I will make them myself so I know it's safe. For DS christening I made him his own stuff using peanut safe chocolate.

Oh awesome. Maybe you can make Mickey cupcakes? I am sure there is a way to make peanut free cupcakes and maybe if you make the chocolate you can make circles for ears?

Be careful those chocolate lollipops don't help...they will be mush even in car as people drive home if they dont eat right away
