does he like anything in particular? I usually get clothes for kids at that age. I am always happy when the kids are given clothes on their bdays.

Although he likes toys that play music while lights flash, especially if he can hit it while playing, as his only aunt I was looking to get a "meaningful" gift. The kind that will be with him forever. BTW: This is his current favorite toy.Image Attachment(s):

my daughter has that toy she loves it. I would stay away from toys that are too loud, lol. I bought my cousin this firetruck one year on purpose to annoy my uncle and 10 years later he still reminds me he owes my kids something that wonderful

Too funny. My DH plays guitar and my nephew is put in a trance when he plays the drum's music on the guitar. My nephew will stop whatever he is doing and just stare at my DH. There's just something about those two songs.

I try to ask the parent what the child actually needs for their birthday in case they have too many clothes, toys or whatever. If they have a favorite TV show, videos might be good
