1st B-day party opinions
I am not 100% sure on this idea so I would like some opinions.
1. Is having the party 2 weeks after the b-day a bad idea?
2. I was thinking of having it at the queens county farm museum. There is a room there and we would cater it. The party would be the weekend before halloween so I was wondering if any of these outdoor activities would be appealing to you as a guest of this party:
-pumpkin picking -hay rides -feeding the animals -corn maze -pony ride
The pumpkin picking, corn maze and pony ride would have an extra charge(we are willing to pay)...just not sure which activities would be the most interesting(there will be a range of ages of children) and how it would work with allowing time to eat and have cake. Also not sure if it would be annoying to the adults to have to go out and supervise their children. Finally the weather...should I just hire some sort of indoor entertainment and forget about the outdoors?

Re: 1st B-day party opinions
I think they're all fantastic ideas! I wanted to do something like this for DD's party but I don't have a farm and wasn't bright enough to think of something like this .
I especially like the idea of pumpkin picking and maybe even decorating. I am hoping to incorporate this for DDs party (mid October).
eta: having the party 2 weeks later is fine IMO

I love the idea! I dont think anyone would have any problems with it! And also, 2 weeks after bday is no big deal, especiallly at 1. Good luck!
