I remember it!!! The only name I can remember is Oswald. Maybe they only taught this in certain school districts. Of course Smithtown was one of them.

I remember them, but only Cass & Oswald. It wasn't just Smithtown, we used it in Bethpage, too.
I do think that memory was burried way back there somewhere until I saw that website, though!

Just saw this post..i remember them from 1st grade. I went to public school in queens.
I remember they all had some kind of song to go with each character!
