19 mo old DS is starting to bite, advice on stopping him?!?!
He started yesterday, he took my finger and put it in his mouth and bit, HARD. I screamed ouch, cause it hurt like a biotch, which scared him. But he did it again a minute later. I pushed him away from me and walked away.
Now this morning I picked him up on my lap and he just started gnawing on my shoulder and then on my neck. I yelled ouch again but this time he laughed, he thought it was funny. He's still teething I'm sure but I'm worried he turning into a biter. He also keeps pulling at his sleeve with this teeth which is a new thing for him.
What has worked for you to stop this successfully?? TIA

DD#2 (15 months) has only bitten a few times. Right now all I've had to do was take her off my lap (if that is her position when it happens). I get to her eye level and tell her that we do not bite anyone, it hurts and is not nice. She has been put in the pnp once for time out when she immediately came back at my toe again.
It's only been a handful of times so I haven't had to do anything more than this but I am so concerned she's going to become a "biter". So far, no incidents in daycare
