18 month old - poops (tmi)
Quick question from my sister…how often does your 18 mo old poop (or close to that age)? Her DD goes a few times a day…anywhere from 3-5x and she is wondering if it is normal?
She has tried no dairy as per her ped's recommendation but that has not made a difference. Only known allergies are egg and slight wheat allergy. She is worried it could be celiacs. Her DD is very thin, in the 25th percentile, doesn't eat much - but has a pot belly. Poops are usually normal…not runny. Thoughts?

my DD would go about 3x a day at 18 mos. almost always a morning poop when she woke up. Then around lunch time and maybe 1-2 more times before bed.

My DS poops about 2-3x a day and is in the 25th percentile also. He loves to eat though.

My son was a big boy but he went 6 times a day til a little over a year and then at least 3 times a day until he potty trained. He was just a pooper!! My younger ones were more like 2-3 times a day at that age.
