Were you an accident?
...or were you a planned pregnancy?
I wasn't. At the time I came along, my parents' marriage had been rocky for a LONG time. As my mom puts it, "You were the result of a drunken night of passion!" 
Supposedly my parents hadn't even slept in the same bed for the past 2 two years. I guess I was determined!

I was an "oops"... My brother was 4 months old when my mom got pregnant with me, and already had a 10, 11, and 12 year old!
My brothers and sisters are all a year apart (almost to the day.. May 11, 12, and 30!)
My mother got pregnant with my oldest sister on her HM and was pregnant for the first 2 years of her marriage!
Then 10 years later comes my brother... and then me!

Totally.,......my mother was 17 and my father 34 (dirty old man...lol) They were married later in life and remained so for 28 years!

I was a surprise that was originally planned. My mother thought it would take a while for her to conceive since she was 36. My parents decided to start "trying" in March and had planned a vacation in July with the hope that she would be pregnant between July and September. Well the first month without contraceptives and she was pregnant and was miserable on that July vacation! So I arrived about 5 months before I was "planned" to arrive.

I came a little earlier than they planned - my sister was only 10 months old when mom got preggo again.
My younger sister was a total oops! She came 9 YEARS later!

My mother does not like to call it an accident. She likes to call me her "miracle". I was born after a 9 year gap. My older brothers and sisters were 9, 11 and 12 when i was born. Then 5 years after i was born there was another miracle. All the same mother and father.

I think I was planned but my brother wasn't. My mom had an IUD in and still got pg with my brother Sometimes BC isn't fool proof!

I was not planned but they adopted my bro 5 years earlier and thought they couldn't conceive when I came along. They were hoping for another and got their wish.
DH was a surprise. He is 13 years younger than his brother. His mom had several miscarriages in between . I think she was thrilled to have another but DH still thinks he was an accident.
