LOVE being a Mommy!

I can't take the teething anymore

Chat Icon

She is not sleeping through the night (she is up for half the night) and now I can't function from being up all night.

She will fall back to sleep after a while if we put her in our bed - but as soon as we place her on her mattress in the crib - she screams bloody murder.

I don't know what to do anymore Chat Icon

I am going through the same thing. Michael gets up for at least 2 hours and wants to play but as soon as you put him in the crib he cries. I had him CIO last night and he did for an hour until he fell bask to sleep.

Sorry! Chat Icon
We just started the 'fun' ourselves this weekend. DD doesn't want to go back to sleep after waking, we were up for her for 2 hrs last night. I've tried nursing her back to sleep, which I can tell you, has been thrilling for my boobs..

How long has DD been teething? Just wondering what we're in for.. :)

Grace was the same way until I went to a homopathic pharmacy and got her this:

This stuff is the BEST and works! I swear by it and it is safe to use.

I hope this helps. This was a MIRACLE for us. It works in 10 minutes. Grace goes froma screaming, inconsolable child to a sweet little girl again in 10 minutes!! Chat Icon

I am going through the same thingChat Icon

DS wakes up screaming bloody murder, I try to sooth him in his room, if that does not work I put him in our bed which he falls back to sleep instantly Chat Icon I then pick him up and put him back into his crib. If he is too inconsolable I give him infants motrin. But I try not to give it to him too often.

Re: I can't take the teething anymore

we are going through this for the past few weeks too Chat Icon

DS will go to sleep fine, but midway through the night will wake up screaming and will not settle down at ALL unless I bring him into our bedroom. I usually can then bring him back to his crib when he's asleep again but that doesn't always work either!

We're all exhausted here Chat Icon

That sounds like our DS. Last night I was up with him for a good 2 1/2 hrs from 2-4:30. This has been going on for the past 3 daysChat Icon Chat Icon

seriously I need to try something. I pray everyday that the teeth will come through. My sweet happy good sleeping baby has been missing for the past 3 nights. Has anyone seen him?

Re: I can't take the teething anymore

My DS is just turning 8 months and has his top 2 and bottom 2 incisors coming in - he's already got his front top and bottom teeth. Our midwife recommended Hyland's Teething Tablets and they are a god send!
They're tiny homeopathic tablets that melt under his tongue and taste like sugar - he loves them! We calm them "Tooser Candy" and he gets SO excited when he sees them!
We give them to him about 20 mins before bed, and I have not had one sleepless night yet with them - he'll sleep from 8-8 without a peep. They are great!!!!

I get mine at Brooks Pharmacy or Shaws. They're not pricey - like $5 for a few hundred tablets.

I hope all this teething means ALL of her teeth are coming in at once. Joseph was the same way. It was pure hell but then it was over.

Maddie's teeth took months.
