I had a sono and bloodwork. My OB measured the baby to make sure everything was normal. She also measured the heartbeat and amniotic fluid.

At my provider, we only get sonos at weeks 12 and 20 unless they're keeping an eye on something in particular.

I'm only a bit over 9 weeks but I had an appointment this morning and asked when my next ultrasound will be. My doc said I'll have one at 12 weeks and then at 20 weeks. I was so bummed because I thought there was one at 16 weeks. I want to see the baby as much as possible

Usually no sono at 16 weeks.
You get one more at the 20 week mark.
I did have a sono at 16 weeks though.. but ONLY because I had just changed dr's at that point and the new office wanted to see what was going on in there since it was my first visit. And the nurses were all like "we never do a 16 week sono" so they were excited to see the baby at 16 weeks. I think they are very used to the 12 and then the 20 weeks.

had mine yesterday. no sono.
but dr said we could schedule the level 2 sono for anywhere from 18-22 weeks! i thought it had to be 20w!

My regular OB does not do a sono at 16 weeks. Only 12 weeks and then 20 and 30 weeks.
However, since I am now under a specialists care because of the CVS testing and possible chromosomal abnormality, I will be having what they are calling an early anatomy scan done at 16 weeks. Not exactly sure how different it will be from my 20 week, but I am having one!

With my first I didn't but this time around the NP was having a hard time finding the heartbeat so she did a quick sono at 16 weeks... I don't think its standard.
